Who We Are
This hunt is a traditional public land hunt in the Grand Mesa National Forest under a special use permit from the USFS. This is a tent camp hunt, 5 miles from the trailhead accessed by SXS and ATV. We have an extensive knowledge of this area that translates to higher than normal public land success. We hunt elk, mule deer, moose, and black bear in this area and offer archery, muzzleloader, and rifle options. Bear hunts can be added on for a $500 kill fee but no charge unless a bear is harvested. This area is draw for an either-sex archery elk (new 2023) and draw for 1st Rifle bull or cow elk.

New Mexico
You don't have to travel to Africa to hunt Oryx, hunt them with us in New Mexico. We have guided options for the draw tag on the white sands missile range or we have private land hunts with guaranteed tags! We recommend 30 cal magnum cartridges or bigger. Shots can range from 50 yards to 500 yards. Our private land hunts are year-round.

We have three different ranches we hunt, 22k acres in the Chinati Mountains, a 70k acre ranch, and our largest 120k acres. We only harvest mature trophy rams, no management hunts or ewe hunts. We can accommodate archery and gun hunters, with a recommended 7mm or 30 cal magnum. Rams average 3205lb to 350lb with 33-inch horns. Spring hunts are from February through May when the rams are in bachelor groups. Fall hunts start middle of September and the rut is from October to mid-November. Hunts include food, lodging, guide, game care, and transportation in the field. Hunters are responsible for purchasing a $48 five-day nonresident hunting license which can be picked up online or in person at a local license agent prior to the hunt. Tips to the guide and or cook are not included in the hunt price.
