We hunt some of the biggest bears in the lower 48. It's not uncommon to harvest a 7-foot black bear. All hunts are spot and stalk hunts, most of these hunts are done during the spring (May-June) during the rut. We also offer a fall hunt that can be combined with antelope or Cow Bison. This area has a high color phase percentage. The hunting terrain varies greatly as the big boars are out searching for a hot sow.

1-1 or 2-1 hunts available. Contact us for pricing

Camp is ideal for groups of 4-6 hunters. If you bring a group of 4 (up to 6) hunters you can have the full camp – we won’t add anyone to your group. Groups of 1-3 are welcome, however, we may round out your ‘party’ with other individuals or a small group. Camp is located 10 miles past ‘the end of the road’, is our base camp, an old-school trappers’ camp on the banks of the Torch River. To get there you will travel by 4WD truck, ATV, and boat… It’s an adventure. Modern ‘upgrades’ include a generator for basic electric service (lights, etc), a shower house, and wi-fi (via satellite). There is no phone service. We recommend that you ignore the wi-fi and enjoy the wilderness experience. Physically - you must be able to ‘get around’ – in & and out of boats and treestands, up and down muddy river banks (no docks) - and you must be able to travel on quads, boats, and who knows what else in difficult conditions.

Hunt Includes:

- Accommodation: 2 log guest cabins, which can comfortably sleep 6 guests (total).

- Meals: Breakfast, late Lunch (main meal of day), and a very late Supper (light meal following pick up from stands after dark). - Multiple pre-baited stands, scouted with trail cameras, for guides to select from.

- Guides provide transport to & and from stands (via boat and/or ATV).

- Bear retrieval, skinning & prep for transport home or to a taxidermist (usually freezing).

- Fishing – in the river at camp. The quality of the fishing varies with the water levels, but spring walleye fishing is often excellent!

Does Not Include:

- Transport to/from the hunting area: our hunters typically drive up or fly to Saskatoon and then rent a vehicle.

.
